Original WWII German SMi-35 bounding mine. The mine consists of an outer cannister which fits the inner bounding mine very exactly. Top of the mine has a date 43 and maker code dah for Junkers & Co. GmbH of Dessau. Fuze assembly with traditional three prong detonator. Based on weight this mine is full of round shrapnel balls, not ball bearing replacements. Superb example. Completely inert.
